In 1987 Macintosh's were introduced to me at college. I was fascinated with the graphics it could do, and really enjoyed learning desk top publishing and programming. I began my serious computing efforts in 1993. Working on PC's and selling PC components at a mail order company.
I really embraced the PC area, and when the web hit in 95, I was consumed by it. There were no Graphical Web Design programs then, It was all HTML. The best program out there was 'Hot Dog'. It was cheap, and basic. This was Before Front-Page, Netscape, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
Remember when you wanted to be on someones internet mailing list, as email was in its infancy? It was fun to get an email!

I went to Microsoft Systems Engineer School, Database Schools, Design Schools, and read a lot of books. I did this at night, and during the day I was pounding on business's doors, telling them about the web and what it could do for them.
In 97, there was a newspaper that laughed at me when I told them about digital cameras, having reporters in the field, and the possibility that the paper would one day not be printed (they have a website now).
I have done at least 100 sites myself, and I had three full time designers working for me while in California. I sold that design studio, and moved to Utah.

Now I'm back to helping small businesses develop their sites, and shopping carts.
